Bradfield College is an independent school situated in the Berkshire countryside. At the heart of the school, is a 1,000 seat amphitheatre.
Enclosed by mature trees and planting, the setting is romantic and magical. Since Antigone in 1890, every third year the school stages a full Greek play that is world-renowned. Within the theatre, seating is maintained as open democratic terraces common to Greek theatres.
Recent modernisation of the theatre has included a new agora (entrance piazza) and grand galvanized stair cases and walkways.
